ccp probably doesn't care about chess its just a silly board game right
@hkchessking In the entire history of the game, nobody dominated chess like Magnus Carlsen. He played in the most competitive era. Sergey Karjakin, Fabiano Caruana and Ian Nepomniachtchi would all have won the world championship if Carlsen hadn't competed. Levon Aronian, Hikaru Nakamura and Anish Giri would have been contenders for the title.
For many years Hikaru used to be like Cinderella to Carlsen’s ugly stepsister.
Hikaru was the pretty one while Carlsen the clever one. Two chess bros with different attributes.

Xi Jinping is secretly a grandmaster.

I recently got 98% game with every move being best except for 1 "good move". Grandmasters often times play 100% games or 99% games or 98% games. Considering that the game was short (<20 moves) and both me and my opponent were near 2000, this is not too out of the ordrinary. Considering that your opponent didnt play the best, its also not to rare to play realy well. You didnt cheat and he just was mad that he lost, and maybe he saw your long win streak and thought you were ceheating. Ive had opponents in blitz around 1200 accuse me of cheating when i play better blitz games instead of timeouting and playing fast because of the faster controls. All in all, you played a great game without cheating, and hes jus salty. As you get better (1600+) most people will be able to accept the fact that you played a great game.

Did your 1200 rated opponents also hung mate in one and started whining like my 1200 rated opponent? Share the game if you can. I would love to see how you thrashed these idiots with inflated sense of self worth. They never accept defeat gracefully, you know the type.
I appreciate your take on this issue. Thank you!
Noobs always automatically think you're cheating when you score high accuracy - reality is they're usually making lots of mistakes thus the best moves are easier to spot.
Spot on! I couldn't have said it better myself. These noobs, at least some of them, merely want to denigrate the victor even if they are fully aware that they were outplayed.
no offense meant, but most people who play with that kind of accuracy are cheaters. it is possible that you are some sort of prodigy, but if you see and 1100 or something playing like that i would be pretty suspicous. it also may just be hikaru and that you are a normal gm and he is starting to play slightly worse. frankly , i cant tell.
@navergonnagiveyouup When you start a new account, they pair you with beginners. You can avoid that by setting your skill level when signing up, but I wanted to start from bottom. Beginners make more mistakes, so it’s easier to find good moves against 'em. Also, those games were in longer time control which gives you enough time to think through all the possibilities. I was just messing around when I compared myself to Hikaru. HNY 2025
