Not really impresive, because Morgan blundered his Queen on move 9 and whenever you get such a huge adventage few moves are considered as bad, which means that all of the moves from move 9 were easy, but good moves.
Andrew tate - Piers Morgan (95% accuracy??)
Before the game started Piers boasted that he could hold his own at chess, but he seemed to have gotten the regular Queen's Gambit Declined confused with the Chigorin defense. To be fair he played very very well up until move 2
Should have resigned immediately after he missed that his Queen was hanging. Not a contest at all. It is always nice to see chess shown on TV because it is too rare, but Piers had such an overinflated opinion of himself to begin with that it was an embarrassment. It was also played on a little toy board with no clock so did not represent the game in its best light. Worst of all, Andrew Tate spent the time going off on some weird rambling rant that had nothing whatsoever to do with chess. A desperate attempt to use the platform to generate some controversy at any cost. Unwatchable.
When Hikaru plays casual games with much lower rated players (including titled players) he always gives time odds, usually 1 minute vs 5 minutes, so this means he still needs to stay sharp to win. 5 min v 5 min IM vs beginner is not a sport. In boxing a heavyweight is not allowed to fight against a featherweight.

I agree with everything you said here. I didn’t expect anything less of these two, with the random off-topic tangents. And yeah the queen hang was pretty embarrassing.
I still think it’s cool to see chess being presented on a platform as large as Piers’. This game was the first and last Piers Morgan video I’ll watch, but it might bring chess new players, which is always nice.
This particular forum states that he is around 1600 blitz, although there is no reference to an account on chess.com (as far as I could tell). https://www.chess.com/forum/view/general/andrew-tate-a-chess-champion#:~:text=Andrew%20tate%20is%20rated%201600%20blitz.
I estimate Morgan to be about a 600 at best and Tate to be about a 1100
600 is probably about right for morgan. I mean he hung his queen in the first 10 moves lol. I think Tate might be a higher that 1100 but it’s also really hard to judge off this one game.

Thanks for the link, someone later in the thread also said he was 1800 blitz. I’d be interested in finding his account, surely someone knows it.
which tate is this? the cringe one or the chess one? or are they the same?
this is the misogynistic kickboxer “top G” tate
ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww i hate him he is utter trash i am a kickboxer that has been training and i am so angry that he even counts as a kickboxer. he needs to stay quiet. he gets on my nerves. idc abt him but he needs to keep quiet.
According to Chess.com's game review, Tate played with an accuracy of 94.7 and Morgan played with an accuracy of 67.1
The report card feature (only available to beta members right now) estimates Tate's rating to be 2201 and Morgan's to be 1293. For those unfamiliar, this feature estimates a player's rating based off a single game, so the ratings should be taken with a grain of salt.
Neither one of these guys are great people, but I thought this game would be interesting to share. Tate's 95% accuracy really surprised me, but his father was an International Master so I guess that may have something to do with it.
This game was played yesterday in the last 5 min of Piers' show: https://youtu.be/v6m_xR_fXJU
