oh you are really not drawing attention to yourself. no way. hey everybody! look at me! i beat a bot that was rated 400 points above me!!!!! are you really so sensitive that you have to look to strangers on the internet for affirmation? did your mommy not tell you that she loved you enough when you were a baby? what if everyone who ever accomplished something they think is noteworthy posted it here? there would be nothing but posts seeking belly rubs from strangers. secondly (and i cant believe i am actually having to point this out to you 1. the first to join this site says nothing about how experienced on is at chess. and it doesnt matter anyway, because you completely missed my point in my last post that rating doesnt matter. do you think because you have a higher rating than me your opinion is somehow better? i could find plenty of grandmasters that agree with me. what then? lastly, who died and made you the czar of 'how online chats work?' but yes, you are correct that you were mistaken about how many errors the bot made. so you have that going for you. and no. you couldnt have lied and said you beat hikaru instead of wally. at least you wouldnt have gotten away with it, because your games are there for everyone to see. so, in conclusion, instead of seeking affirmation froim strangers on the internet, why not just get a life?
Beating a 1800 bot while being just 1400
you know what, @cruxter? your soaring rhetorical skills have caused me to change my mind! so congratulations to you, sir! i am now of the opinion that your victory over the dreaded 'wally the bot' is one of the most significant achievements in the nearly 1600 year history of chess! kudos to you! in fact, kudos to anyone who happens to even look like you! i am now going to start a petition amongst chess players to take to FIDE suggesting that your tremendous feat should be added to the list of norms in order to achieve any chess title. i simply cant believe there are people out there who have the gall to call themselves chess masters when they havent beaten wall 'on only the second attempt!!!'
no cruxter. there has been no line that has been crossed. you are not very bad at chess, but then you are not particularly good either. you are just a regular guy with nothing to be ashamed of and nothing to brag about. but you had to go ahead and brag anyway. it made you feel like you are somebody. and only immature children block others simply because they dont agree with them.
It's too much of now, you crossed the limit just over a game, you could have used proper wording, but you choose the wrong way, so there is no point of talking to you, as a dog's tail cannot be straighten up, YOU WON, I am very bad at chess, I just won by luck, you are best player of all time, THANK YOU.
There’s a way to win against ANY bot with 3 crowns and it is if u go to custom settings and change the time controls to very low that can run out of time.
GREAT!
I'm sooooo whizzed. back when I was a mid 1400, I beat chessmaster's tal personality on an old computer. i'm guessing it was rated 2200ish. I was TRYING to study the scandinavian after 1.e4 d5 2.d4 e5, and after 3.dxe5 tal suggested 3...dxe4?! which allows 4.Qxd8+ to take black's castling rights which I didn't like AT ALL, so I switched sides, and told tal to prove it in no more than 30 seconds. I ended up mating tal in about 35 moves just developing and keeping pressure on the king. sadly though, a homeless thief I used to help out stole my hand written notation after i showed it to him just to be an ahole. to this day, it's still the best game i ever played.
I am just 800 and I have also beat wally

yeah in my experience the chess.com bots make random blunders that are often easy to spot. They're about as easy to notice as mistakes made by human 1000 players. At least for me, they start getting difficult to beat around the 1800 level, probably because I can't spot the mistakes higher rated bots make. That is my input, not sure if it was at all helpful
He made no blunders in the game
that is not what the game analysis says. it says he made 5 inaccuracies, 4 mistakes, and 1 blunder.
He made that blunder at the very end, so it doesn't count as blunder, when he was just left with king and I was completely winning.
he made two bad errors back to back on moves 37 and 38 when the game was even. you were then able to hammer out a glorious victory about 30 moves later...
so what, even a 1800 player too makes mistakes, also it was a very tight game, so there were very few good moves, so a normal player would too have made mistakes, me too made a blunder over there, also it was not a big error like giving a piece for free, the material was equal
so kudos to you. you beat a bot. every last one of us on this site has beaten bots of much higher rating. welcome to the club. a very, very, large club...
But, doing it in 2nd try is a different thing, in a game with no blunders and no gifting of pieces.
yeah, right. whatever floats your boat, kid.
Btw, I am not a kid, also rated better than you, if you don't want to appreciate anyone, just don't say anyting.
well you may not actually be a kid, but with your sad little attempts to draw attention to yourself you are certainly acting like a child. second, the fact that you are higher rated than me (a relative beginner) has absolutely no bearing on this discussion. third, i will say whatever i like and if you dont likke it, feel free to make a superior rebuttal. lastly, at least quit lying about thhis 'amazing accoomplishment.' you told @ponz the bot only made one mistake. that is not true.
Why would I draw attention to myself, I just made this forum to show it to my friends, no one asked your opinion about that, you yourself draw your attention and commented, I didn't asked you to do any of those things, secondly you joined earlier than me, so I am relatively beginner still my rating is higher, third, this is just a childish behaviour to say I will say whatever i like, online chats doesn't work like that, also I mistakenly said 1 mistake, as a saw 1 at the bottom and thought there was no blunder, if I wanted to lie why would I show analysis, also I could have stated I beat hikaru bot in this game instead of Wally if I wanted to lie.
