Hi all, i wanted to share that moment with you all.I was playing white against  a 1300 myself beeing only 1188. I was sweating pure adrenaline when I saw an opportunity to steal a Bishop and yet keep pressuring black's king. It's just 3 or 4 moves, it's not that impressive nor interesting for a lot of you, but the exitement, the adrenaline boost that I felt  during that set of moves reminded me the best moment I had on Quake :)

I finaly lost the game... and end that nigth on a good old FPS

 HF !

A fork followed by a revealed attack. "it's not that impressive nor interesting for a lot of you," I found it quite an attractive tactic, thank you for showing it. :)

I agree with Lord-Svenstikov.  That was a great series of moves.  You should be proud.

my favorite tactic in chess is controlling my oponnents moves. i think this is a pretty good example of that. (that's what people mean when they say "gain tempo" right?) congrats!

by the way, it's terribly difficult TO control your opponents moves, but I feel when you do you understand what CAN happen and therefore control what WILL happen. it's very difficult to do, so that is why i gave you the congrats!

third times the charm... adrenaline has won me games, it's amazing!

Nice idea and it went well.  Just a suggestion, I think after 19 Nxc8+ if black goes to f6 instead of f7 you have no checks and you have to play Bxa6 Rxc8 Q moves bxa6 which doesn't win you anything.  The good news is that your idea of Nd6+ is a winner.  Nxd6+ Ke7 Bxa6 Kf6 (otherwise Nb7+ winning the queen ) B on a6 retreats and you have won a piece.  Bad luck with the finish of the game but if you keep seeing ideas likke that your rating will soon rise!

Indeed MM78, that king move would have break that sequence. I may have to thank Karlic for letting that happen ! :) Thank you all for your kind comments.
