Btw not all 900s play the same, playing be2 and bg5 are all natural. King safety is the number 1 priority, but there is no need to rush into castling because black cannot attack the king that early on.
There are still traps with be2 if you are still wondering:

This was one of my games, there is a beautiful forced checkmate. See if you can spot it . I am looking for the name of this checkmate if there is a name, I have never seen anything like it in my 50 deadly checkmates book or anywhere. Please message if you know what this is called.

Nah mate. This is just one of those wacky mates. A smothered mate is only achieved when the king is surrounded by his own pieces

suffocation mate
I was scrambling for time in a 1|0 bullet game. Didn't realize this was mate. Not that weird, but usually two bishop mates aren't as crowded.
