how to stop it? - just dont fall for the fishing pole trap...

These are 2 old miniatures I found searching in my games for some Fishing Pole action. Neither of them features the Fishing Pole, but I like both of them, specially the fxg1=N+!! one:

A minor pet peeve: Having to face the winner instead of the loser. If you won as black, please flip the board.

Eh, it's live chess, most people are just shuffling the pieces for a bit of fun.  I wouldn't say I really know QGD lines myself...

yes a bit i think a 20 is about the limit but nice game none the less!!!

thats 45 moves - 27 moves was pushing "minature" a bit
