yeah that's probably what it is
Excellent opening play by white starts to go wrong with 15. f3 (blocks the bishop from h5, allowing Nh5) when the dark square diagonal h6-c1 became the story of the rest of the game. The engine review preferred 16...Bf6 and ...Bg5 (I didn't think of this) with the same idea as my wacky looking ...Kh7 and ...Bh6, but another look with more depth of analysis finds there is not much difference and having the g5 square free was very useful to me.
Yeah, 15.f3 was really strange. It looks like white was trying to keep the knight out of g4, not realizing the square was covered. Nice game, boo-boos and all.
A Dutch defense, or as some purists like to call it, 'the Anglo-Dutch defense'. Some mutual mistakes, but white plays a bit too optimistically here.

Interesting game, f3! was especially nice. Instead of Nxh7? maybe Ng4 defended better and push the e pawn.

Messing around with the lower bots can be fun sometimes. Could have mated on the previous move, but I wanted their Queen as well as their King.

Yeah, I got lucky. That f3 is the kind of tactic I typically miss. And if white had found 18.Qb2, I think I would have had to castle kingside, but then he gets to save the rook, and might have been better.
Yes, it's not a miniature forum.
