That was an amazing game! Totally the opposite of what I would have played myself (I consider myself a more reserved player).
That reminds me one of my early unsuccessful attacks . Perhaps 10. Be4+ is better for white

6. Nxf7 is probably sound and winning... I may have to run it through fritz to work out where white went wrong.. good game though.

Is it really worth trading the knight for the positional advantage of having his king exposed and unable to castle?

Instead of this, why doesn't whight capture black's knight with Bxe6? He would be trading the bishop, but then the queen would be out of immediate danger and he could then move Re1+ to keep black moving his king around and giving white time to gain better positions.
Your move 13 doesnt kill the queen at all ! 14.)Bxe5+ ends the knights threat on the queen easy. But u did played it well mate well done.....
