Good job guys you found it.So the correct idea was to give check and play Bc5 as a waiting move to prevent Bd6.It seems 1.Ba5 was wrong after all,since 1.Bg5 is quicker

Ran into this position in Thomas Engqvist, 300 Most Important Chess Positions (2018) and played against Stockfish on the iPad. Not sure I was the most efficient, but I found a way.
