25+5 is rapid. The minimum time control for an open FIDE-rated classical tournament is 90+30 (although 60+30 or similar is possible if you restrict by rating).

Yes, I do. However, to train for your game, especially since it's rapid, you can play anyone. Ideally, somebody in your rough rating range.

#29 there won’t be a difference in playing a fide rated player vs. an unrated player if they’re the same skill
