but I think Knowledge Which supergrandmaster like hikaru can give none of the above can give experience can be seen in hikarus every move
They're entertaining. Similar to other online personalities that get viewers for various reasons. They've turned it into a business, good for them.
And sure, they're not the best chess players, but are far better than the average tournament players and there are plenty of online people that get more viewers (which equals more $) that don't play chess. So it's not all about chess.
I actually like seeing their streams from the live otb tournaments. It allows the non tournament public to experience what rated tournaments are like.
