ChatGPT can't even do basic math consistently. It correctly identified that 2,357 is a prime number when I asked it to factor it, but then it also said the following equation was true: 2 + 5 = 7 - 3, when I asked it to give me a true equation with those 4 numbers (examples of correct answers were 2 x 5 =7 + 3, and 7/2 = 3.5), I doubt it will ever master chess. It appears to just be a conversation simulator, not true AI.

When I played chatGPT I teleported 3 pawns to the final rank and captured his king with my king that was on the other side of the board.

Me: My first move is Queen to F7 checkmate.

Me: That move is illegal since I'm protected by my rook on A1.

Chat GPT cannot play chess. I just tried to play chess with ChatGPT earlier, but I spend half the time correcting it's errors because it keeps on making illegal moves. In all the moves that it did play, it blundered most of it's pieces. ChatGPT then lost on time because it spend most of it's time remaking it's moves. It also didn't realize that most of my pieces were hanging.
