Chess board software to MANUALLY think NOT engine analysis.

Hi,

I am after a simple stand alone software to setup my game in PGN and mull over it. My own analysis no engines. I am not looking for a software with chess engine. Not a web page because it has engines. and distractions.

Just to setup my game and think about options. Multiple boards would be useful so I don't have to erase previous analysis.

Is there such a thing?

Chessbase, but it's paid and quite expensive depending on your wallet.

Scid vs Pc is a free alternative which will also allow you to build your own library of games and annotate them.
