I referred a friend a few days ago, I got the ' Bring a friend' achievement, now I gifted him a month of gold subscription, but I didn't get the ' Vip referrer' achievement. Does it have to be the person themselves that upgrades?
Yes , your gift won’t count for the vip achievement. But you will get another achievement when you donate a membership.
