If chess.com grows then they will probably remove all free features one by one so it is best to hope that lichess keeps our because the cheating and lag is their problem. I tried their advice and it does not work. Support wastes my time.

Many players quit after the boom. It may started increasing now but it definitely lost a lot of players compared to 2 years ago.

I would say that most people would agree with him on this. Even Hikaru, one of his critics, agreed that there is a cheating issue. The problem that most people have with Kramnik is his methods. Witch hunting combined with paranoia is no way to deal with the situation.
