I like Lichess more. Even when I had premium, I didn't really watch the videos or use the premium benefits except for analyzing games which I do solely on Lichess. Also, I can create studies of the books I'm reading which is very convenient when I come up against a Grunfeld to see what moves to play and why. Here is one of my finished studies if you want to check.
chess .com vs lichess
Chess.com because lichess is cheap and rely on donations, meaning they can't buy proper cheat detecting. So when one of my friends reported me as a joke because I kept winning against him, and the next day I saw my account has been closed for 'cheating'. I message them and asked them why, but they replied in a week saying they are correct and this conversation is now over. That is why I hate lichess. Also, you have to prove you're not a bot for every comment you make, you can't invite people to clubs, and I would write way more but unfortunately I don't have the time. People might like lichess of chess.com because of the memberships but It's worth the money with the daily puzzles, tactics, lessons, videos, clubs, and more.

no lichess is a app for chess players but chess.com is a app for money and btw cheat detection is AMAZING so probably ur saying because u cheated or u lied
this forum will probably get locked. i did a similar forum with this title and it got locked by a moderator for some reason related to that lichess is a competitor of chess.com

You're joking right? They are less toxic than chess.com hands down. You can invite people to your groups and also lichess offers much of what chess.com offers for FREE. But to be fair, chess.com has videos but you can go on youtube and there are many good channels that will teach you an opening, calculating, and even chess improvement like ChessDojo, ChessPathways, or Hanging Pawns to name a few. But they do have a personalized opening explorer on chess.com which when I had premium I liked but I do like how Lichess allows you to look at how other players on the website play in different positions which is useful to prepare against.
On top of all that, you can play casual games against anyone even strangers. I never was able to do that on chess.com which on lichess allows me to try some openings I've never tried before without tanking my rating. Also their daily games are much better than chess.com as you don't get sent away from your game after you make a move
Chess.com prioritizes puzzles and fast chess over classical time controls and lessons. I just found out that you can't revisit a lesson without it counting against you. I am glad I found this out now, as I was considering paying for a yearly 5/month kind of deal where I could focus on a few lessons a week. However, if they are going to count each time that I revisit a lesson then I will look at other place like chess24 or lichess.
There is a 40% off code (THANKYOUDAD) going on with chess24, but I don't know what that includes.
That code didn't work and they said to try KIVAFINALS if it didn't, but that also doesn't work. Oh well, if a code works then maybe I will sign up. I am looking for something in the 60-80 dollar range.

Maybe try honey
I think both have their pros and cons
Chess.com forums are a lot more active and useful for actually getting information imo
Chess.com UI is soooo much better than the Lichess UI
But the Live Chess is more appealing on Lichess for me
Lichess Classical rating is cool as 10|0 and 30|0 are extremely different time controls and shouldn't really have the same rating, and Lichess also allows takebacks with approval from your opponent, so the ratings would probably be more accurate as there would be less wins from just a misclick or blunder.
And finally, I find the analysis on Chess.com a lot easier to read than on Lichess
Just my opinion

Fair points but I don't know what you mean by UI. What is that
