Hello, I would advise as a 1600 otb studying openings, watching chess videos bc when I was 500 that helped a lot.

Maybe practice the opening on chess.com and tactics with like 10-20 puzzles daily and do some end game practices with bots

Hey there, as an 800 OTB player I don't suggest openings, try tactics and middlegame training as well as basic endgame training (checkmates with different pieces, basic king and pawn/passed pawn endgames)

Hi, I am a 500-rated player who recently joined an u500(under 500) tournament. Does anyone have tips to prepare? I am writing this on Jan 2; the tournament is on Jan 28. I have been playing games and using the free review. Is there anything else I can do to improve? I have not been doing many puzzles.
