Could Bobby Fischer beat me in a match?

r u kidding me? lol. Bobby Fischer have 2800+ FIDE, to think he would be beaten by someone -2000 rating is quite some insanity. No offense but I think him half asleep would be able to beat everyone talking here lol (including me of course). Only Hikaru, Magnus, Fabiano, Kasprov, Karpov, probably Ding and Gukesh would be able to beat him.

That's not the right question. The question is could you even make a draw against Bobby in a long match? And the answer is no.

Fischer would lose on time because he's dead.

Bobby Fischer would not be able to beat you in a match because he is dead now.

But if he was alive, he'd beat you in every single game.

Bobby was only 2702 fide but his performance was well beyond that. The reason why he played like a 2900 but was 2700 is because of the way fide ratings work. At the time the second highest player in performance was 2600 so if bobby fischer played 14 games, drew 10, lost one, & won three he would still lose elo meaning he would have to go on an insane win streak because a loss will remove 11 elo but a win only gets 5 elo

I will beat him when he’s dead sounds like something Hans Nieman would say
