Hi guys
Danny vs The World: Danny Rensch Challenges YOU!
Also there is this: Who the heck is Danny Rensch, that he should play the world and the world should play him?
The model for this format was the Kasparov vs The World match played in 1999. But that was very different. It was an epic event because Kasparov was a legend and clearly the best player in the world at the time. Hence it caught people's interest, especially as the internet was relatively new then.
But Rensch is another matter. Although he may be a big cheese at Chess.com, compared to Kasparov he is a midget. He's not even a GM. So why should the world play him?
This whole proposal appears to be a mixture of a PR stunt and a vanity project. A D-minus mark for whoever thought up this particular piece of tomfoolery.
There's a parade in my town I'm not too fond of. Can you come rain on it please?

Clearly, you have no idea of quality. You're like a person who thinks spray-on cheese is a gourmet item.
