Both are amazing and doing quite well in the World chess championship. Ding is able to save games in a way that makes studying endgames a must! Gukesh is innovating in a great way! This demands the question: Who would win at a Super-Kings variant championship?

The Super-Kings chess variant is where the King has all the powers of a queen, and can move and capture exactly like a queen. Outside of that, the same rules of chess still apply. It is said that Jose Raul Capablanca was a genius at these types of variants. This variant been around in various forms for a long time. Some people even play it as the King can move like a queen and a knight. Ultimately, it is a very difficult variant.

Both Ding and Gukesh are making their marks in chess history in a great way!
