Flank and Capture the Flag

Hello, i was just kicking back in my car a few days ago and had a thought that I should try a new line up for the pieces, this is what I came up with.

The first is Flank. In Flank the Pawns are the only pieces whose movement is altered, they move in what appears to be in a diagonal fashion, like that of a Bishop, albeit in this game, it is forward, as the board will be in a diamond position as the game is played. The only way to Queen a Pawn is the single square where the 'flag' label rests. In Flank the FLAG is not used.

In Capture the Flag, the Pawns move in the same manner as in Flank. However in Capture the Flag I decided that like the Pawns, and their ability to jump two spaces on the opening move, that the King should be able to move two spots as well, however, with the King I fell the two spots should be in any direction and at any time, thus giving the King the ability to jump and become a valuable piece. Making it so that one can check the King in this game seems to defeat the purpose, so who ever can get to the Flag first wins. Hope you like em!
