Is like Elvis, losing an Elvis impersonator contest
What did you get on chesspersonality.com?
I got technician, but who picks these openings? The Sicilian isn't exactly the first opening I'd recommend to someone who prefers solid positional play.

Why not? The Classical, Kan, and Taimanov can be quite positional.
Fair enough, but they could have specified.
The last time I took it I got whichever archetype was associated with Korchnoi...
Actually that's probably pretty accurate but that doesn't mean the quiz is valid or should be taken even a tiny bit seriously by anyone.
It was funny watching John Bartholemew take the test. It was almost like watching myself take the test. We did differ on just a few questions, which was enough to make him a "grinder" instead of "natural". He pretty much agreed with how he was assigned. Myself, I'm pretty ambivalent about where I ended up. Again perhaps that is a reflection of the fact he is a much more accomplished player whereas I find many different ways to screw up a game.
I'm afraid to take the test. I'm assuming there's a "putz patzer" personality...
there is no patzer or anything like that

Well for complete accuracy, there should be.

he answered some questions by what he did in online chess and other questions about what he would do otb so the test was void
