How do people handle losses

Sort:
MCLXVIII
It’s not like I lose a lot but it is something I dislike mostly because usually it was by making a mistake but I’ve gotten myself to try accepting losses as part of the game of course if I win 4 or 5 I should not let the occasional loss bother me as everyone else also probably hates seeing those red boxes I wonder what kind of philosophical approach people have to winning and losing

Some players view chess as a form of art or expression. Winning or losing becomes secondary to playing beautiful or interesting games.
