How to defend against Bishop opening (and other aggressive openings)

I've kinda struggled with the bishop opening, so I'm just wondering if there is a certain set of precise moves I have to do or is there something else...

I find that if Black brings out both knights it blunts White's attack with Queen and light squared bishop

Here is a good response to the Bishop's opening - I completely fell for my opponent's unusual move 1)... g5 2)...g4 I *should not* have taken that pawn. Admittedly, I fought my way back into the game and my opponent resigned on move 32, I don't really know why, the game was even at that point.
