How to improve without a coach ?

Sort:

I'm currently 1417 and have been stuck in 1400 from past 2 weeks can anybody guide me what can I do ? I had previously asked similar question for as to how can I break past 1500 but many high rated players between 1700 - 2200 suggested for a coach. I have tried to find some classes nearby but there are none here so can anybody guide me what should I do ? does someone know about any personal online coach or any other alternatives for progress ?

If you complain you are stuck for two weeks means that main thing you do not get is patience. You cannot think that if Gukesh become world champion in 18 anybody can do it. Chess is very complex game and allmost nobody can improve very quickly.
Play rapid games with increment.
Analyse every game you played before starting next game.
Remember mistakes you did and try not to repeat them.
Solve tactical puzzles at least 20 - 30 minutes daily. Do it correct way, which means try to calculate till the end without guessing moves.
Study games of old masters like Morphy, Tarrasch, Capablanca, Botvinnik etc.
Do it every day and you will slowly but surely improve.

I just play 10+0, and review my games. Though if I was taking chess seriously I would do that + 30 minutes to like an hour of puzzles a day.
