I just reached 1000 elo on rapid and now I want to reach 2000. Any tips?

Not to discourage you, but it’ll be a long journey. As you climb the rating ladder, every 100 points becomes a bit harder to attain. Going from 1500 to 2000 will be harder than 100 to 1500.
A lot of good players have excellent advice out there. Chess Vibes @nelsi is one source. But tactics will be by far the most important factor in your games for a good while.
Set more realistic goals in shorter time periods and try not to tie them to just a rating. Like, “I didn’t hang any pieces for five games in a row.”
