How to win in bullet

Bullet is brainrot but I am the best at it (my bullet rating is 1600 and my blitz and rapid ones are 1150).

1. Play moves that are close to you. It is easier to move quicker when you play moves that are close by. Like the kings Indian defense.

2. Make lots of threats. In bullet, if you want to win on time, drain your opponents clock by making threats that they have to think for.

3. Play in tournaments. In tournaments, you verse all kinds of ratings. For example, in a tournament, I once versed a 2000 rated player in bullet and this is good because you have nothing to lose and everything to win. If you lose the game (assuming you are around 1100), it won't affect you much. But if you win, you will gain lots of rating.

4. When you get flagged (it's when your time runs out by your opponent doing some dirty tricks), take a break. When you are under tilt, your play can get worse.

Well that's it. Hope you make it to 1500!

Damn "make moves that are close to you" are the extra 0.1s really that important, or are you playing 30s chess?

Farmer_Klon

premove everything and I mean everything

Move first, think after. Or even better, skip the thinking part, that will only make you lose

I win bullet games quite easily using the four move checkmate strategy. Everyone's a joke.

Bullet games are easy to beat.If your opponent doesn’t pre move, you can beat it easily by time out . Bullet isn’t like rapid, the faster you checkmate, the faster you win. Bullet attack is the best fried liver attack.lol

Yes, it could help you save time (one time, I was one move away from checkmate and lost on time when my opponent only had 0.1 seconds and it was a 1+0 game)

No, think quickly and then move

Look at all these suggestions. Don’t think. Move first, think after. Only make premoves. Make threats every move. Make short moves.

This is why playing bullet makes you a worse chess player and why beginners should avoid it.

By continuously creating threats, you force your opponent to spend time and effort responding. This can lead to time pressure and mistakes.

Yeah, you are right, but I made this post in case there is anyone out there who wants to get a high rating in bullet.

Beginners should totally avoid Bullet. They would play anything under pressure. The best way to start a beginner's career is Classical, then Blitz, then Bullet, then Rapid or Rapid then Bullet...

Yeah, beginners should avoid bullet as it causes them to rely on time rather than skill.

No, please don't do this, you will lose every single game (maybe you are joking)
