i need help for understand

Hello everyone, sorry if I make any spelling mistakes because I don't know how to speak English.

It's something I can't put into words, but I just can't really understand how I'm supposed to play.

because tactically I have an impulse, or an instinct to make threats, which is good.
Sometimes that can end in good games, but you can never really see exactly what you did right.

other times it ends in lousy games due to positional errors.

I would like to know if there is any of you who can help me find a balance between the strategic and the tactical.
because although I have an impulse to attack and it turns out well, I have knowledge of strategy that I cannot apply because when I focus on that, I play poorly no matter how much knowledge I have on the subject, or I end up diverting again to make those impulsive moves.

Here is an example: https://www.chess.com/analysis/game/live/129306828991?tab=review
In that game, apart from the serious error, I had no errors although I did not have any positional analysis, all I thought about was that impulsive move and the variations after that.

What I want to get at is that I want to apply strategy to this analysis of variants, but I simply cannot, no matter how hard I try.
Help me whoever knows about the subject with a comment.

thank you

I suggest Coach Bill's lessons which he posted on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLDghkp2J0_kr3zoHS3ZNIFzcrAtAhmAfk

Work on exercises that force you to think both strategically and tactically.

Tactics you should learn a lot.

50 different motifs and countless implementations.

As for strategy, there is single most important rule: Place your pieces in the center of the board.

That is 80 percent what strategic chess is all about.

The rest is outposts, unattackable by pawns pieces, pawn structure, attack on the king etc.

Place your pieces in the center of the board and you will be fine.

Place your pieces in the center of the board.

The biggest secret of chess.

As Bobby Phisher rightfully claimed: That's like hitting the ball with the bat.
