i won a game by checkmate in rapid but my rating didn't go up and stayed the same and the game i played is nowhere to be seen either ? why ?

Sometimes there's a bug where it doesn't show up on your homepage for a few minutes. However it generally seems to show up on your stats page under the correct time control.

That's not really a bug. Writes to the database are done asynchronously so there can be some delays, depending on how busy the databases are.
Well if it shows up one place but not another, to me that's a bug.
