if i regularly beat higher rated players but lose to same rated players, what does that mean?

I feel like based off that knowledge alone i should have a higher rating in daily, but this site doesnt reward ability it rewards consistency. This whole process takes too much energy, i can easily outplay 1500s in daily but i cant beat many lower rated players consistently

EnCrossiantIsBrilliant

same here but in rapid. Do you see a difference in openings between your rating and higher ratings?

Also if you are good at daily, you should join the 2025 chess.com daily chess championship

HangingPiecesChomper

it means the site might be rigged

Actualy daily ratings are all over the place some 2200s in blitz are 1200 rapid and some 1000 blitz players are 2000 daily

Why don't you chomp on your pieces instead of yapping here you aren't doing your job

It's too long term...

You might subconsciously underestimate same-rated or lower-rated players, leading to careless mistakes.

23 active daily games is a lot to keep up with.

I had a hard time keeping up with two games simultaneously.

Ill likely retire after one more game because it takes to much effort, commitment and investment when you want to play at your best.

I've been lieutenant obvious for way too long. It's high time for promotion.

Glicko isn't specific to this site.

That's how chess works.

In OTB play, you cannot earn a title unless your results are consistent.

I've never had a problem keeping up with 20-30 games at a time.

My highest was 88 games, now that was a lot but I even though I had a way to not time out and everything

Idk, maybe it's because I'm young and can keep up with it? /j

Some of the same-rated players you've played could be underrated. They could be new to the site (but have solid experience OTB or on another site) and haven't played enough highly rated players here to get a rating that reflects their true strength.

MrsWitcher

lucky?
