If you don’t accept at least one rematch after you win, then you lose.
Sort:
If you win a game against someone and they ask you for a rematch, and you don’t agree to do the rematch, then you lose and that person wins.

Everyone loses. Sometimes the person we lose to isn't as good as we are, but we lose anyway. Instead of insisting on a rematch just accept it and move on.

If I win and someone asks me for a rematch, I give them at least one. Why leave them feeling like they can beat me if I have time for another game? One rematch seems to do the trick for me.
What if you win thirty times, then I win once and don't rematch after that? I still lose according to your policy? Sounds reasonable.

Some people don't have time, others (like me) wanna face somebody new every time they play, others simply just don't wanna play again, and many more reasons.

As far as I’ve played online, most people accept a rematch when they win and don’t accept a rematch when the lose. They are only looking to increase ELO instead of looking to improve their game. That is why online ELO is such a bubble.

Chess is not won by being lucky, it is won through skill. The only luck involved in chess is the opponent you get paired with.

I really don't see how declining rematches would have much of an impact on rating. You would still get paired with a similarly rated player.

They probably have the mindset, "I beat them last time, I can beat them this time and get more points". That's exaggerated, but you get the point
