Is 70% accuracy good for a beginner? What accuracy is good for a beginner?

I play primarily with 30 minute time controls, and I try to be as accurate as I can, but my accuracy still fluctuates between 30-60. A game I won recently had an accuracy of 70, but that's the best I think I've ever gotten. Is it normal to have low accuracy as a beginner, even if you win? What can I do to increase accuracy?

Note: Actually I have played games where my accuracy was between 60-90.

A lot depends on what happens in the match. If it's short or your opponent blunders early then you can expect a high accuracy score. If the match is balanced and complex then you should be happy with a lower accuracy score. Focus more on trying to eliminate blunders than the total accuracy score.

70% is good for a beginner, if you mean very new to chess.
