Chess GM Paul Morphy said "The ability to play chess is the sign of a gentleman. The ability to play chess well is the sign of a wasted life." and i agree, therefore, i hate chess, but i am somehow forced to play it psychologically.

Chess rules are easy to learn, but mastering the game is a lifelong journey. This combination makes it both beginner-friendly and endlessly challenging.
Not when it is rigged.

Depending upon what level you're talking it.
I very much enjoy playing it, but not necessarily standard games more Bughouse and King Of The Hill.
The main thing I do (up to 8+ hours a day) is puzzles.
