losing games to my own bad play
i was hoping monday afternoon session would go better but it didn't in fact worse --now iam down to under 225-- just can't seem to play fast enough without missing on my blunders and mistakes -- so off to play the computer again so i won't lose all hope playing here --
taking the rest of the night off even the bot i played here said i should just quit -- really ----not kidding the bot told me to give up -- well i am nearing the below 200 point now so maybe the bot is right- was trying that whole knights out first thing early this evening -- lost one them as soon as i bring it out --- whats the point i figure -- leave them on the first rung where they belong this a retort sort of vent vibe here --- not needing an answer from anyone - just need to stop but for how long is the question to be answered
tuesday morning starting off as bad as monday -- many losses than wins down to 200 now so we can see where this is going - tried something differnt in a opening this morning din't work just as bad as any other i have tried -- starting t think that any opening you do will work its thats move 8 and 9 and 10 that is critical -- just don't seem to get that part at all -- alwasy out maneuvered from then on ---- guess back to playing bots for a while so i don't get too depressed at least with them i know i will lose -- thats a for sure thing but that dangle of hope you might win at least that is gone -- god i sound depressed this morning -- iam soory about that
well took four days off for mental health form this game -- played poker online to fill the time now i am back for the weekend to see if my brain has recouped enough from this torture -- started out as expected more losses than wins down to 130 now--- makes me think does anyone really improve that does not have chess in their dna to play this game -- at least without going crazed addicted to losing and the pain that comes with that --- just a question i think about when i see these kids claim and maybe rightly so they only played three months and are now 800 or better yet the ones that claim they studied under this guy or that and went from 600 to 1250 or some such variation at a cost of -- they never tell you how much they spend to improve i noticed -- oh well just mooselings by me for the day started poorly and going down hill fast back the pain board i guess
off till after supper need to lick my wounds -- lost a few in row -- if i could only find a way to play just 130 type players i think i could have a chance to raise my score a little - i know that is not how its done but i wished it was so see you later tonight
monday holiday morning - win some lose some - still at 159 which is ok for today i guess always better than 100 i guess
MONDAY NIGHT --------more losses than wins have been trying the 5 min games for a while seems to be better - but i am going back to 3 min it seems to put more pressure on my opponents -- well maybe i am just hoping that it does -- below 150 again - so need to try a couple more games then that's it for tonight no more blood letting on me
juts finishing up monday night play --- noticed something about my play after a couple of games now -- i really suck badly -- from move ten on iam done -- so maybe i should consider another game -- i have yet to ever get over 250 and if i do that is for a fliting moment maybe five games or so ---- cheating is a option -- but i would send more time trying to figure out the next move from another computer i mess up anyways and then lose so cheating is not really an option -- i watch videos all the time on chess -- but then don't sink in -- a course on chess where i have to do step by step things in an order to improve might be the answer -- but they cost money and on very limited fixed pension only pennies to spare each week -- unless i win some freerolls on poker or get some bonus money on those freerolls that i could convert into lessons maybe a step by step guide to getting better-- yes that's go to be the plan -- now i just have to get better at poker -my son buys me a lottery ticket every other week maybe i get lucky there also and turn that money into lessons - i wasted money two weeks ago buying a chessmaster dvd -- it doesn't work on my computer it uses too old a windows win98 that my computer uses (11 so it can't play it --- being lucky in life is not one of my strong suits -- so i need to come up with plan b if plan a doesn't work -- which i the way i play poker might not work -- oh well need to stop this addiction for tonight--- house of dragons is on -- need to watch that --season ending episode don't want to miss

soory i havn't played last couple of days been playing poker trying to raise money to get chess lessons -- not doing so good was up 65 dollars at one point then lost all but 2.56 cents left -- but from free freerolls guess it wasn't all that bad -- just wished i had stopped at 65 dollars at least i could buy a good up to date chessmaster disk to at least start a progression of learning in a lesson format -- oh well there is always the lottery bought one ticket hope it wins --see you at the chessboard
down to 125 now almost the bottom 3 min game players are just too good even at 125 level for me -- i don't see the move coming after about move 10 then its down hill from there -- playing a longer i tried it just makes the losing of the game longer it seems and i can't seem to out think when i have the time to see what mu opponent is doing -- i will play since iam at the bottom now a couple of 10 min games and see what happens can't win on time with ten min mind you but i will try again to see what happens after a cup of tea and take my medications all nine pills -- here we go
well playing the ten min games allowed me to play a lot worse players even than me -- so that was fun-- got to 154 at ten min games so more wins than losses - i will try to stay at ten min game for a while and see what happens medications are taking effect so off to bed for now see you tomorrow
down to under 150 now still playing the ten min games but losing more regular than 3 min games it seems will try a few more before supper
Instead of playing fast games against beginners and not learning or improving, try actually studying chess. A hour or two with a good instruction book will pay off more than all the time you have spent so far.
