Lost after not playing a move

Was talking to friend in chat and asking if he wanted to play bullet when it said t( game was abandoned despite nobody playing a move and the time didn’t even start. Why did this happen???
Sometimes the clock lags… be careful
When I went back to the game my time was still 10 mins though
