Hi! Nice improvement! I started chess 1 year ago, on November I can't remember the exact date. The only reason I started playing chess was to be able to beat my brothers, and a couple weeks later I was already joining and even winning tournaments. My older brother plays a lot of chess, and he taught me the basics! Then I joined this site, and joined a local chess club. Of course I bought premium membership in this site! As a matter of fact, I have a chess tournament coming up in 2 weeks! Very excited! Well, that's all my story. Good luck!

My name is Thomas, and I've been playing chess for about 2 years.
I first started playing chess when I joined a chess class that used chess.com as their training site. Back then, my rating was about 300. After that class, it rose to about 600-650. Then I took another class AND read a lot of chess books. My rating went up to 750. After that, I got Premium. Then it rose to 850, sometimes even 950, but I often tipped it back down to 790, 800. Then I went to Vienna, where I joined two in-person chess clubs. It was just at that time where I joined the Improvers club. I posted ONE question, and in like 2 days, there were already 20 helpful replies. Since then, my rapid rating has only gone up. If you need a higher rating, join this club. That was the best decision I ever made in my life. In a few months time, I hope to hit 1000 ELO. But until then, happy chess games and thank you for reading my post!!
