Najdorf is objectively better than Dragon.
Najdorf or Dragon
It depends on your rating and style. Below a certain level, it will make no difference. The Dragon is easier to understand for beginners and much more forgiving until you meet strong opposition. The Najdorf is technically more sound but it still has some issues, like reams of theory, and some very tricky sidelines, like Rg1. I would suggest you try an easier Sicilian first, like the Paulsen or Taimanov.
Dragon is awful if your opponent knows how to play against it, because it's so natural, safe and comfortable for white to castle queen side and once you see that A pawn coming at you, you know you are done for. I've been there so many times.

I guess that patzer with the white pieces did not know how to move them... right?

Your point?
I want to know more about Sicilian Defense. What did you suggest Najdorf or Dragon.
