absolutely true i played up to 2000 level expert players and the positional games were significantly different then the online games i played the vision is far different

Greetings guys, so I just played some 1800 uscf players and was surprised at their strength. I will indicate that the main difference between online vs over the board is that I found over the board players ae almost no blunders. I never once got a checkmating position even one single time and found that the games were always decided by end-games rather than by some strategic concession. So if you are thinking you can win a tournament I wouldn't reccomend trying unil you are 2200+ across all categories on chess.com. The games were positionally boring, dry and almost impossible to win without having to play like karpov.
