I'm not sure what to take from this but I would caution that the "accuracy rating" is often given too much attention and misunderstood. Depending on the type of position being played, it's normal to see the same level of player vary wildly in their "accuracy rating" because major errors are either quite easy or difficult to avoid. Having very high accuracy ratings may indicate that you are playing simple positions, and not that you are playing exceptionally well.
Players are Getting Better
Your accuracy tends to be way higher when you lose, assuming you didn't get curb-stomped. When your opponent is forcing you into an uncomfortable position where there aren't really any good moves, the "best" is typically easier to find, simply because there are fewer options.
Similarly, if you're getting wrecked and somehow manage to pull out a win, there's a chance that you'll have the lower accuracy despite being the winner of the match. I had a game a long time ago where I won with 42% accuracy and my opponent had 55%. My most recent example of a "lower accuracy wins" game was a 71-68 where I tricked my opponent into blundering a back rank mate.
It's amazing how good the players are getting on this website. The last 10 games I played, my opponents had an average accuracy of 87.4, while I had an average accuracy of 80.7. I guess I need to try harder, and study more, but I want to congratulate and highlight the amazing efforts of the players here.
