Playing against a 2123 rated as an unrated player

Sort:

Hey guys,

I don't have any OTB elo yet, but I'll be 1450 in blitz and rapid next month. Yesterday I drew against a 1761 FIDE rated player in a classical 90+30 tournament. They matched me up against an opponent with 2123 ELO, who drew against an FM! Do you have any tips for me to at least draw? Thanks in advance and happy holidays.

Your opponent probably plays online too.

People who have titles are often identifiable.

If you figure out their online name, you can review what openings they play to help you get ready.

And don't forget that your opponent can probably identify you too.

Thanks for the response, he doesn't have a title, but I found some OTB games presented online by an electronic chess board. He doesn't have a chess.com account

Don't avoid complications out of fear. Enjoy the game, and ask to analyze the game afterwards together. That's like a free lesson.

A vyjelo rvé jméno, elo a oddíl.

I lost. It was competitive, I didn't make a single blunder, but his strategy was much better. He attacked me with a pawn storm infront of his king (King was safe), which won him an exchange.

Hello everyone, would you like to play chess in the medieval style, where there will be knightly clans, where you can go from squire to master, simultaneously completing tactical tasks and accepting battles
