Your opponent probably plays online too.
People who have titles are often identifiable.
If you figure out their online name, you can review what openings they play to help you get ready.
And don't forget that your opponent can probably identify you too.
Hey guys,
I don't have any OTB elo yet, but I'll be 1450 in blitz and rapid next month. Yesterday I drew against a 1761 FIDE rated player in a classical 90+30 tournament. They matched me up against an opponent with 2123 ELO, who drew against an FM! Do you have any tips for me to at least draw? Thanks in advance and happy holidays.
