Recently in the past 2 or 3 days, chess.com randomly redirected me to the website

I searched about it and the results said the website was malware related.

Also, I was redirected to that website once when I was midgame in this game, move 7 as black:

Sounds to me like you have some spyware / malware / dodgy browser extension that is hijacking your system

use google chrome

its much safer

Well I use google chrome and I was getting this exact issue since a couple days ago where it seems like I only get this when in the middle of a chess game. For me I used a malware scanner and it pointed me to C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe as the problem (So its pointing me to google chrome itself?). I'm pretty lost about this too

I just noticed this too it seems that only chess.com does this redirect to the official chess.com website it doesn't do the same with anything else. When I try to remove this it comes back again

maybe this problem is only in australia?

Your PC is infected with malware that redirects you to that site.

You'll probably start getting it from other sites too. It's not the sites.

It's been happening for 4 days now, only on chess.com, sometimes when I'm not on the tab, sometimes when I'm on it, but no other website has been redirecting me.

We need some more people from Australia to see if they are having the same issue.

I just contacted support and it said they will reply to me in 1-3 days
