So I peaked at 1686, but now I dropped 50+ points and I am not playing good, I just got off a 3 day break thinking I would come back better but today I just dropped even more. I don't wanna be in that "got to get back to my peak" mindset but honestly feels as if I am, and since I am pretty low from my peak. My energy in my games is feeling low, though that energy is not what it was like when I was just hitting my peak, which is understandable because when I win I am happy, but now I am losing and I am not happy. I already took a break but now I feel as if I came back worse what should I do? like I am seeming to lack focus.

what is going on ?? what is this

I would say prepare a good opening. And watch top level chess before you play. I think it would definitely help you.

interesting response, thank you.

Everytime I reach a peak I drop 100 points (almost every time ) there was only one time I didn't

Looking at your graph you blitzed through my rating range with what seemed like no problem.

why don't you play some unrated games till you build back up your confidence and start playing better ?

Or try something else like Blitz for instance, that can definitely help you improve a new skill set and go back to rapid once you've peaked there.

I do that when I'm tilted for more than a day sometimes I switch time controls having a main time control online can be helpful tho as long as you don't do only that

Fork what I seen you have only dropped about 50 elo so far so it isn't a big tilt

oh yeah you're 2700 puzzles. you have a good tactical eye it looks like. btw cool username

I would say good at calculating strategy is more important for actually getting the tactics

oh one last thing. I see that you're in time trouble a lot in your games maybe find 15 10 or 30 0?

How I fixed my issue is play a few bullet games but not too many I still get into time trouble but not as bad doesn't work for everyone but it helps some people

BigChessplayer665

And when your tilted your more likely to freeze up and rt into time trouble anyway
