Wendy chess Bot Vs real players

Sort:

I have a rating of around 1100 and was up above 1200 for a while last year. I can regularly  beat  the Wendy bot whose rating is 1500. However I am now often getting  beaten by a lot of Indian players who are as low as 1040.  Any ideas about this?

A 1500 bot is like 1000 elo, so it makes sense

The elo of the chess.com bots aren’t super accurate, as it can be difficult for the engine to accurately simulate low elo players

At 1300 elo I had beaten the li bot (2000)

And even now at 1900 elo I have beaten one of the WWC bots (2550)
As it got its queen trapped

Usually the bots play between -250/-1000 their actual elo

That is a depressing thought considering it is around the Bot 1500 I start to struggle

1363 was her actual Elo when the bots were allowed ratings vs humans apparently.

It’s important to understand though, that they don’t play consistently at the 1000 elo level, sometimes they literally just play like a 3700 elo engine every game, and sometimes, they blunder their queen on move 4
