What was your biggest material advantage ever?

Hey everyone!  Ever had a game where you ended up WAY up in material and the other guy had nothing to show for it?  Do you remember what your biggest was?  What was it?

Here's mine: I was up 5 pieces and a pawn (I am not joking) against a classmate I played at school.  Can you say "overkill"?  Cool

if you can get a few passed pawns and convert them to queens then the margin can be high

One time I was up to nine-sies. What a day!

actually I played a game long ago where I just moved my queen around and captured all these loose pieces. I played a game where the opponent had only their king and I still had all my pieces except for 4 pawns a rook and 2 knights

yah, im playing a game that there was (white) one king v.s (black) 5 pawns, and a rook, i am black and i am winning :D yes, its still playing

I had everything except for 1 pawn in a terrible overkill

the question should never involve extra promoted units...

Here's one game with 18 point lead, no promotion.

One time I changed the board to fill up very square with a queen vs only their king so I had 62 queens and that's the most.

For me it was this 15-10 rapid game. +19 without promotions and I ended up with more time on the clock than I started with.

I think mine was when I was playing a beginner friend, so I changed all his minor pieces to queens.

That's cap you can't do that - it would be a draw by stalemate before

I don't remember too well, but I went into a queen vs. everything else game scenario against a classmate. He had the queen, and I had everything else. Because of time restraints, he resigned.

On another note, the theoretical best material advantage is 8x queen promoted pawns (72) + 1 queen (9) + 2 rooks (10) + 2 bishops and 2 knights (12), resulting in a 103 point material advantage, but that's assuming NOTHING gets captured on one's end, there is no stalemate, draw, or checkmate, there are no time restraints, and your opponent doesn't resign. In a perfect world, you would be up 103 points of material.

Karub99

I used the chess.com custom moving and it is possible to be up 103
