It depends on what your weakness is. If you're better at just general positional play, then get the endgame course. If you feel confident in your endgame knowledge and are weak at positional play, then get the "reassess your chess." Based on your rapid rating, I'd probably recommend reassess your chess as that is more immediately critical, but if you have the time and money to get both and really want to improve get both.

I read the endgame course a few times. It added to some knowledge i had from things like chessmaster and a seirawen book on endings. It helped me a ton in games that went past middlegame. So ya the endgame book is my answer. I just spend the last 2 months reading htryc 4th edition and again it really solidified previous knowledge i had. I play rapid ( so i do have a little bit of time to think) here and in lichess . 1800 on lichess . I am finding i can outplay alot of players in the 1900 range but loose in hard endgame fights. So the book has helped me alot in middlegame . I know what to do to make my pcs good and where to defend or attack . I will move into some other endgame books now . Hope this helps anyone . Both books are really very enjoyable to read .

How to Reassess Your Chess was instrumental in my rise from C Class to A Class in OTB play. Silman’s endgame book came out after I’d been reading Dvoretsky’s Endgame Manual for several years. It added nothing to my play. Nonetheless, it has helped me as a chess teacher.
