Why have I lost 100 elo in 3 days? Am I stupid? What did I do to deserve this huge tilt?
I was 715 3 days ago, but now I'm 611. Why is this happening to me? This website's matchmaking is rigged. That's what it feels like. I'm going back to being 250. This website won't stop will it? It's not helping me out because I have no money for game review and I can't have any lessons. This website hates me because I actually was improving. If the staff wanted people to improve, they would have free game review. I'm only allowed to lose now. Why is the website doing this to me?
Boohoo
Boohoo. (Update) She's not your gf anymore
When you've just joined the website and your rating is not yet accurate, it will go up and down by huge swings until you've played a dozen games or so.
it makes no sense to lose 200 points in a single game. this site is brutal
People joining this site for the first time tend to have no clear idea how ratings work. Because they can beat all their friends, they often think that they're pretty good players already; and when they join they tend to choose a starting rating that is much too high... a 600 strength player thinking that he's 1200, for example. How would he know that he was chosing an inflated rating?
So the Glicko system multiplies the rating gain or loss for your first dozen games or so, enabling you to "home in" on a realistic rating within your first ten or twelve games.
Removing the Glicko-based acceleration would lead to even worse results. Suppose that 600 strength player had to drop from his chosen 1200 starting rating to his more realistic 600 rating only 10 points at a time... he would have to lose his first 60 games in a row to reach 600.
How many people would just quit chess, after so many consecutive losses?
If you don't tilt once in a while you do not improve in chess. I tilt when I am tired of the usual stuff and I begin playing more careless. Then I improve my chess skills and I usually get stronger than before. Hope this helps..

I recommend not replying to him. He'll find ways to destroy this site's reputation by finding proof that this site's ratings are rigged. He's more of an attrntion seeker than a normal commenter.
