Winning against a disconnected opponent

It doesn't seem fair to get the win when the opponent gets disconnected, especially when the opponent had the winning edge. It's not in any way the opponent's fault and it feels like an ill-won game.

Yes I feel the same way When that happens

It's normal for someone to disconnect Due to a laggy connection though

The guy had me though. I hadn't been playing very well and my defeat was imminent.

Your feeling reflects credit on you, but it is the fortunes of war. Sometimes you feel disconnected from life, sometimes it is merely chess. All you can do is acknowledge and move on.
