I cannot login to my account. I'm facing this message - We found an existing Chess.com account with the same email address. Please log in using Google, and then connect these accounts.

What should I do?

I have no gmail account. My email g***@yandex.ru

I was sending so many messages to support. No response since 2021. Chess.com is charging me every year for nothing.

The only thing you can do is to write to [email protected] from the account you used to log in to that old account.

If you have lost access to that email, that is too bad but they have no way of proving that you were the person the account belongs to.

It appears that your problem has been solved. I can see games being played in your account as of March 13th-- about a week after your original forum post.

Can you clarify what exactly you're trying to do and where you're seeing an error?

That's probably a question for ChessUp.

I went into Settings, Connected Accounts and then combined them. I believe that should hopefully let ChessUp properly sync with Chess.com.

I tried to log on using gmail when the message came up. In the night Windows updated, Firefox updated and wiped all my cached passwords, so I tried logging into my gmail account and thought that I could log into chess.com as usual. Then the message came up:
"We found an existing Chess.com account with the same email address. Please log in using Google, and then connect these accounts."

I then followed above advice - On chess.com I went into Settings, Connected Accounts and then combined them. And behold whilst I now can log on to chess.com I lost my rating, all of my friends and my legend status as well as my paid account benefits. It seems to have combined the wrong accounts (I used this 3 years ago before I paid for subscription using my gmail account). Now waiting for a response from chess.com. Maybe it's time to change to lichess?!

Your other account would have been using a different email address then.

Check your old emails on your accounts to find out exactly what address was being used.
