Attaching photos to reply to messages

I see other members reply to my messages with photos but I don't see an option to attach photos when I reply to those messages. Do I need a Facebook account to send photos with my replies?

No... There are a few ways to attach fotos. One way is to click on the tree Icon... Right next to the little chessboard. This will open up another window giving you access to pics on your Hard Drive

Click on choose file and when you have chosen the desired image click insert...
NOTE: Your cursor should be flashing in the area that you want to insert image.

Then when you see the image click on Post Comment...



Another way is to copy an image from anywhere on the net and then paste and post comment

You have to use a web browser to post a picture. Click on the button with a picture of a mountain.

I cannot send photo in my mobile

there is only 3 icons

You can't add pictures on the mobile app. You need to use a mobile browser instead.

@Martin_Stahl would you be kind enough to tell us that why is it that the app still doesn't support attaching photos? Why have the users been restricted to just the browser for this?  

I don't know. I think the app was primarily designed for game, lessons and tactics and basic forum functions. Probably has a bit to do with complexity and overall size. The mobile website works very well for most of the site.

I don't have the tree icon, can't paste a picture into a message at all.

Can someone explain why? Is it because I am a new member, and in that case, how long do I have to wait for to be allowed to post pictures and include links in a message? Was trying to find some sort of "posting rules" but failed.
